My Shikumen Neighbors

This is an illustration commission, telling the story of Kaiwei Shen, a foreigner living in Shanghai, and how he understands and experiences life in there through his neighbors.
In the illustration, the horn protruding from the house emits various sounds of neighbors, and Kaiwei Shen gradually experiences life and understands life in such an environment.
The final illustration was designed as a book cover.
